A number of Battlefield titles have been announced or released since the release of the last two core tshetles in the series, Battlefield 2 (pictured above) and the subsequent Battlefield 2142, none of which have been accepted by the PC Battlefield crowd as a true successor. We’ve sheard rumblings about Battlefield 3 in the past, and DICE has said that it hasn’t completely abandoned the PC roots of the series.
